
Eppler Junior High School students recently were treated to a day on the town to learn more about communities.
The 55 Life Centered Career Education students recently received free admission to Lifetown in West Bloomfield, courtesy of the Alhambra organization.
Lifetown is an indoor facility set up like a small town. While there, the students are able to independently navigate the town to practice function skills such as banking, money management, communication and problem solving.
Alhambra Sancho Caravan, of Warren, annually raises funds for projects that support students with special needs. This is the second year the organization has supported the field trip to Lifetown for Eppler students.
