What has eight legs and gives a lot of people the creeps? You guessed it: Spiders. With that said, Burgess-Shadbush has two special presentations planned for 1 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday: Spidermania.
Visitors will learn plenty of fascinating facts about spiders, hear some myths busted, including which ones are really dangerous, which ones bite (not too many, apparently), and they'll see some arachnids and other bugs up close. Kids will have fun with a spider craft, a visit from a costumed character and more.
