Halloween has gone to the dogs and Wag 'N' Tails will be leading the way with a Halloween Costume Contest on Oct. 29 from 1-3 p.m. Dogs and their owners are invited to come dressed in their best costumes for the event featuring celebrity judges including WDIV’s Lauren Podell to judge the Top Dog Winner.
Other judges will include Ken Jackson of Fitness Factory voting the Most Athletic Costume; Michelle Grillo from Posh Palace will vote the Best Dressed; and Marina from Shelby-Utica Patch will vote the Most Original/Best Celebrity Look A Like/Breaking News Dog.
During the event there will be entertainment, games, refreshments and a chance to tour the Wag ‘N’ Tails facility. Special promotions and give-aways will also be featured for guests of the Halloween Costume Contest only.
Pet owners are encouraged to bring family and friends to help cheer on pets as they walk the runway. Kids can come dressed up as well to kick-off the Halloween weekend with some Wag Trick-or-Treating. Be sure to bring a camera for photos with the pups!
