It's time for Shelby Township's 16th Annual Kids Summer Olympics, to be held July 16 at Whispering Woods Kiwanis Park.
Boys and girls, ages 3-12, are invited to compete in events, with awards to be handed out by gender and age group, and ribbons for all who participate.
Events include 40-yard dash, hurdles, disc toss, baseball toss, broad jump, long jump and free throw.

Ages 3-5 can check in at 9:45 a.m. and compete at 10 a.m.; ages 6-8 sign in at 10:45 a.m. and compete at 11 a.m.; ages 9-12 check in at 11:45 a.m. and compete at noon.
