Kids Wheel Throwing Classes

Potters' Mill is offering wheel throwing classes for children ages 10 and up.

The four-week class includes four 90-minute lessons (including 10-15 minutes' cleanup time); four instructor-guided projects (one cup with handle, bowl or plate, vase, pot with lid — original projects also welcome); free firings and glaze for the four projects.

The four-week class costs $65. Twenty-five pounds of clay (from Potters' Mill) is also required (at a cost of $25) as well as an eight-piece pottery tool kit.

There will also be four-week courses for kids beginning in January that are held on Wednesdays: Jan 5, 12, 19 and 26; and Fridays, Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28. All classes are held from 5-6:30 pm.
