The Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center has an adult class and outing planned in late October. The class is "Dangerous, Disagreeable and Disgusting Animals," and focuses on animals to avoid and critters we love to hate. Safety in the field will also be discovered, plus live animals will be shown.
Class is held 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, followed by an outing from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. Cost is $2 per person for each class and outing.
Be sure to dress for the weather. Preregistration is appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome, too.
