Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center has regular Nature Nights events that are fun learning experiences for kids and the whole family. On July 1 it's time for the Campfire Cookout and Bluebird Nest Box Visit.
Families are encouraged to bring hot dogs, burgers, buns and chips and cook things over the fire. The park will provide condiments and marshmallows for toasting. Everyone also will learn about Eastern Bluebirds and other birds that nest in boxes.
Cost is $2 for ages 12-adult, or $1 for ages 4-11. Walk-ins welcome.
