Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center has regular Nature Nights events that are fun learning experiences for kids and the whole family. On June 3 it's time for a Campfire Cookout, with family fun planned, and a lesson on poison ivy, where you'll learn to identify it and take a walk through the park's gardens.
Bring your own hot dogs or burgers, chips and drinks and the park will provide the condiments and marshmallows.
Cost is $2 for ages 12-adult, or $1 for ages 4-11. Walk-ins welcome.
