Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center has regular Nature Nights events that are fun learning experiences for kids and the whole family. On June 17 it's time for Catching Insects with Nets. Everyone will use nets to catch butterflies, bugs, beetles and more from the fields surrounding the gardens. Everyone will examine these creatures with magnifiers and then release them. Nets and magnifiers will be provided. Mosquito repellent is suggested.
Cost is $2 for ages 12-adult, or $1 for ages 4-11. Walk-ins welcome.
