It's cool to be cold this weekend, as Historical Downtown Utica presents its Winter Ice Carvings & Fireworks Spectacular. Enjoy three days of fun, including:
Friday
- 8 p.m.: U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame inductees Kevin and Derian Hatcher will be honored at the Riverwalk-Clock Tower, followed by a fireworks celebration.

Saturday and Sunday
- Noon-4 p.m.: Ice carving demonstrations, horse-drawn carriage rides, games, contests and more
- 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 1-3 p.m. Sunday, the Utica Public Library holds its annual used book sale.
