Winter's here. May as well embrace it.
Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center is holding a Winter Hike and Cook-Out Saturday, Feb. 25, beginning at 10 a.m.
Everyone will hit the trails to look for signs of winter wildlife. Afterwards, from noon-1 p.m., it's lunchtime, with a cookout in the works. Be sure to bring hot dogs, drinks, chips and whatever else your party wants to enjoy for lunch in the park. Then everyone will gather around the fire for dessert: A marshmallow roast!
