Henry Ford II Competes in Regional Cheer Competition

Team performs three rounds and finishes 12th.

The cheer team from Henry Ford II High School shouted, jumped, tumbled and flipped for judges Saturday morning as they competed in the regional cheer meet in Lake Orion. They finished 12th out of 12 teams. The top four teams advance to the state finals in Grand Rapids next weekend.

Home team Lake Orion won the meet, followed by Rochester's Stoney Creek High School, the reigning state champions. Southgate Anderson and Sterling Heights Stevenson finished third and fourth.
