HFII Color Run brightens futures for families
Ford II High School Interact Club sponsored its fourth annual Color Run to support the March of Dimes
The Henry Ford II High School Interact Club brightened the futures of families being helped by the March of Dimes.
The club sponsored its fourth annual Color Run to support the charity, which funds lifesaving research and programs and works to end premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality.
“I was happy knowing that I was helping the children of the future. March of Dimes is a wonderful organization,” said ninth grader Yula Zora. “I really loved running this race, and I looked like a rainbow by the end!”

As the high school division of the Sterling Heights Rotary Club, the Interact Club sponsors several different charities throughout the year.
Nearly 80 students took part in the 5K run on the school’s grounds. Club members served as the “Coloring Team” and sprayed the runners five different times throughout the course with diluted colored water.
