JVS Partners with CARS(TM) for Donations
Donate cars, trucks, motorcycles and more to JVS to support vital community programs in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.
JVS Detroit is pleased to announce a new partnership with CARS™, a national vehicle donation program. This program is a great opportunity to support the most vulnerable in our community ‒ people with disabilities, unemployed workers, the frail elderly and at-risk youth who are served by JVS.
CARS™ will accept almost anything that is in one piece and towable from any location in the continental United States -- cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, trailers, boats, planes, ATVs, even farm equipment. Customer service representatives are available seven days a week and more than 1,000 vendors across the United States are available to pick up donations at a convenient time and location.
Donations are tax deductible and donors will receive a receipt from the towing vendor, as well as an IRS form within 30 days of the sale if the contribution exceeds $500. To support JVS Detroit’s program, visit www.jvsdet-cardonations.org or call 855-JVS-4CAR (855-587-4227).
