Love Your Librarian? How to Nominate the Best in Shelby-Utica for National Award

Up to 10 librarians nationwide will be honored with I Love My Librarian awards, and nominations are now open.

Library-goers now have the opportunity to show some love for their favorite librarians by nominating them for an American Library Association (ALA) I Love My Librarian award.

This is the eighth year the awards are being handed out, and up to 10 librarians nationwide will be honored with an I Love My Librarian award. Winning the award also comes with $5,000, a plaque and a travel stipend to attend the official awards ceremony in New York in December.
