National day of work is not your typical day at the office for UCS students
Students spent the day at Selfridge Air National Guard base
It was not your typical day at the office with mom and dad for nine UCS students.
As part of the National Take Your Child To Work Day, students from Crissman Elementary and Schwarzkoff ementaries and Malow Junior High School spent the day with their parents at Selfridge National Air Base.
The day included tours of the base grocery stores, the Coast Guard Helicopter, Army Helicopter, Marine heavy equipment and the Selfridge Air Museum. They also saw a BEAMHIT demonstrations, where lasers guns are used for target practice.
