The news is positive at Ebeling Elementary

School news crew toured the Channel 7 studios and learned from the pros

The Ebeling Elementary Morning Announcement Crew had an opportunity to see the real thing in action when they toured the Channel 7 studios.

Students received a tour of the facility from WXYZ sports anchor Brad Galli.

From going behind the scenes to see the newsroom in action, to the sets where the news, weather, sports and special interviews are done on the air, the students had a first-hand look at how news makes it on the air.

The entire WXYZ staff explained their jobs and posed for pictures.

While visiting the Sports Cave set, a show that airs on Sundays, the students had a chance to relax and get advice from Galli about reporting.

The Ebeling Crew was able to tape the next day’s school announcements right on the set where the Channel 7 news anchors broadcast - and in just one take!

Their fellow students applauded their approval after the announcements were shown at school the next morning!
