Nine Utica Community Schools theatre departments band together for unique night of entertainment

UCS theatre students will be joining together to stage a one-night joint production of Much Ado About Theatre on December 8 in the Eisenhower High School auditorium, 6500 25 Mile Road.

The event, which will feature all four high school and five junior high school theatre programs, will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 per person and are available at the door, which opens at 6 p.m.

Each of the theatre programs will present 10-minute segments of their fall performances.

All proceeds from the event will support the March 9,2017 Evening of Excellence program, a vocal music competition featuring high school students and live and silent art auctions that supports the UCS Superintendent Scholarship program and the Fine Arts.

Evening of Excellence is sponsored by the UCS Foundation for Educational Excellence.
