Patrons Asked to BYOB To New Book Store

Bring Your Old Books in Shelby Township carries a large selection of books and comic books for every reading enthusiast.

Ryan Phillips and his mother Susan opened Bring Your Old Books book store just more than five weeks ago in Shelby Township. The mother-son pair decided to open the store after selling books online for more than 10 years.

Phillips and his mother share a love of reading. Susan Phillips was a stay-at-home mom who started collecting books as a hobby. A large collection of more than 10,000 books resulted from their online venture of more than a decade. They thought a used book store would be a great addition to the city.

Bring Your Old Books carries all genres of books, including mystery, science fiction, fiction, nonfiction, and romance. They also carry new comic books—a new shipment comes every Wednesday.
