Plumbrook students "Roar" with approval over leadership assembly

School takes part in leadership program with Lions mascot

Plumbrook Elementary students scored a touchdown in their efforts to be school leaders - with a little help from a furry friend.

The Detroit Lions mascot Roary stopped by the school to promote the “Leaders for Life” program.

Students learned about the 6 leadership qualities to help them become successful leaders in school and in their life!

“A huge focus at Plumbrook Elementary this year has been developing that leader inside all of us,” principal Sofia Papastamatis said. “We believe that leadership qualities start with doing the right thing and always setting a good example at school and at home. Students had the opportunity to hear the same message from our Detroit Lions Youth Football Coaches.”
