Schmidt Scorches Opponents for Eisenhower
This junior forward leads Eisenhower hockey team in scoring.

Jake Schmidt is respectful, respected and on fire for the hockey team this season.
The Eisenhower junior forward leads the team both in points and with compassion for his teammates and coaches.
“Jake is a true leader in the sense that he treats everyone with respect, especially his teammates,” Eisenhower hockey coach Bob Hall said. “He is an excellent role model and I believe his success is due to his chemistry with the teammates.”

Schmidt leads the Eagles with 18 goals and nine assists for a total of 27 points. He recently netted a hat trick in Ike’s 5-2 win over Escanaba in the MPHSH Showcase last weekend in Chelsea.

“Jake is a hardworking young man who represents himself well both on and off the ice,” said Hall. “And when teamed up with Zach Halloran and Aaron Schneider, he can be part of one of the top lines in high school hockey.”
