Shelby Township Announces Fishing Derby Winners
Dozens of children cast a line into Heritage Garden Lake recently for the annual Shelby Township Fishing Derby.
Some of the youngest anglers in the community cast a line June 8 for the annual Shelby Township Parks and Recreation fishing derby.
According to aΒ release from the Parks and Recreation Department, nearly 140 anglers 15-years-old and younger took part in the event sponsored byΒ Β Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti, PLC and The Detroit Area Steelheaders. TheΒ McDonaldβs on 23 Mile also providedΒ goodie bags for each participant.
