Shelby Twp 7th Annual Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk

The 7th Annual Shelby Township Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk is being held on Sunday, December 18th at 9:00 am.

It will start and finish behind the Senior Center/Library/Court House on east side of Van Dyke north of 23 Mile Road. Many of the runners and walkers come dressed in holiday attire! We have the wonderful Senior Center open for the pre and post events. This beautiful course starts behind the Senior Center and proceeds through Shelby Junior High, Cherry Creek Golf Course, and Mae Stecker Park. Dri fit shirts in both men and women sizes will be given to all runners/walkers. Trophies are awarded to the top male/female, master male/female, and grand master male/female. We also have medals for the top 3 in each group. We also provide free coffee and hot chocolate as well as fresh bagels, fruit and other items for the runners/walkers. Free photographs will be available after the race at no charge. And 100% of the proceeds are going to 8 charities in the area! Hope to see you all out there!!! In addition, we will be raffle off a number of prizes(must be present to win): Golf for 4 at Cherry Creek Golf Course, Greystone Golf Course, Samsung 10 Tablet, Free pavilion rental at River Bends Park ($200 value), Free hotel night at Hyatt Place, free restaurant certificates, and more! Lancelot from Jimmy Johns Park will also be there for pictures!!!
