Stevenson unified soccer team brings home gold

Stevenson High School’s Unified Soccer team brought home the gold at the inaugural Fall State Games for Special Olympics in Canton in September.

Stevenson’s unified team played an Ann Arbor Pioneer and Kalamazoo unified team.

Unified Sports joins people with and without disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.
