Students, parents and staff raise $7,000 for St. Jude

“Team Believe” is walking the talk when it comes to helping others.

The Utica Center for Mathematics, Science and Technology student community group recently participated in an annual 5K walk to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

More than 170 students, staff and parents raised $7,000 through the walk, a t-shirt fundraiser, bake sale and online donations.

It is the most money the team has raised in the four years it has taken part in the annual event, held at Lakeside Mall
