
A Utica Community Schools graduate has been nominated for one of Michigan’s top professional theatre award.
Jeff Bobick, a 2005 graduate of Eisenhower High School, has been nominated for a Wilde Award for Michigan theatre in the category of best music direction.
His is being honored for his work in The Light in the Piazza, which was staged in November at the Two Muses Theatre in Waterford.
Bobick is a Chevrolet Marketing Analytics Manager at General Motors Company who also works in community theatre.
The 2016 Wilde Awards will be presented Aug. 29 at The Berman Center in West Bloomfield.
Presented by EncoreMichigan.com, the Wilde Awards were established in 2002 to honor the excellent work produced by Michigan’s professional theaters.
