UCS hosts 9th annual Academic Blitz on February 4
Event helps families create a game plan for high school, post-secondary success
Area students can create a successful game plan for their educational future at the ninth annual Utica Community Schools Academic Blitz on Thursday, February 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Henry Ford II High School, 11911 Clinton River Road in Sterling Heights. Informational booths are open at 6 p.m.
While the Blitz is specifically targeted to students in grades 5 through 10, the event is open to all area families interested in specific options available in UCS and after graduation. The evening allows parents and students to develop a plan that takes advantage of the unique programs and services in the district.
Informational booths will also be available during the night for parents interested in meeting with counselors, local college officials, academic summer school options and college savings plans.
