Utica Community Schools graduate earns Transition school-to-work award
Tiffane James demonstrated outstanding effort in developing a career goal and moving into the role of college student and employee

Utica Community Schools 2014 graduate Tiffane James was named School-to-Work Transition Student of the Year at the New Horizons Rehabilitation Services 50th Annual Awards Ceremony.
James, who attended Eisenhower High School, earned this award for demonstrating diligence in taking advantage of transition services and meeting her objectives.
She demonstrated outstanding efforts in developing a career goal by moving from the role of high school student to college student and employee since last June.

Her parents Noreen and Robert James accompanied Tiffane to the ceremony and banquet. Also on hand was former Eisenhower High School teacher Mike Satawa, associate principal Ken Marnon and UCS Special Services supervisor Karen Kennedy.
