Utica Community Schools student is finalist for America and Me Competition

Paige Sakorafos, an eighth grade student at Davis, has been named a local winner in the 48th annual America and Me Essay Contest, sponsored by Farm Bureau Insurance.

Paige will receive an award certificate for the achievement and her name will be engraved on a plaque. Paige’s first place essay will now advance to the state level competition, from which the top ten essays in Michigan will be selected.

The top ten winners will be announced in April. Congratulations to Paige and best of luck at the statewide competition!
