Utica High School Marching Band

Get ready to blast off as "2015 A BAND ODYSSEY" comes to a football stadium near you!

Utica High School Marching Band (UHSMB), under the direction of their new Instrumental Music Director, Keri Pruse, have been busy preparing for marching band season. Of course, Mrs. Pruse’s husband, a football coach, may call it “football season.”

Mrs. Prused joined the Utica High School faculty in July. She brings a strong background and expertise in musical instruction to both Utica and to Eppler where she also teaches in the afternoon. Upon accepting the position, she barely had a chance to unpack her baton when she immediately started working with Utica’s marching band. This year’s show theme had been chosen and drill set, but within days of starting she took over 100 kids to band camp at CMU where they really got busy putting the show together. Many hours of hard work later they are excited for fans to see.
