VIDEO: Local Businesswomen Heat up the Runway
More than 25 local businesswomen took to the runway at the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce's Sizzle with Style Women's luncheon.
Glamour and excitement were in the air Thursday as nearly 25 local businesswomen strutted their designer gear, coiffed hair and professional makeup down a catwalk for the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce Sizzle with Style business luncheon.
The stylish event was held at Ike’s Restaurant in Sterling Heights to promote female chamber members and local businesses.
Chamber members ranged from Patch.com editors Marina Cracchiolo and Jenny Whalen to Brightside Construction owner Juanita Merling.

As the models pranced down the catwalk in front of nearly 100 guests, emcees promoted their business and interests and, of course, talked about their outfits.
The women modeled clothing by Advantage Apparel and jewelry by Premier Design Jeweler.

Before the big event, just as any New York fashion show, the models were sent for hair and makeup, which was provided by and Paul Mitchell the School in Sterling Heights.
