Viewfinder: Ribbit-ing Fun At Stony Creek
Families gathered at the Nature Center at Stony Creek Metropark for an afternoon of educational fun. The theme of the day: frogs.
This past Monday, about 12 families gathered at the Nature Center at Stony Creek Metropark for an educational afternoon. Park naturalist Mark Szabo instructed the children and parents about different types of frogs.
Szabo gave a diverse presentation including songs, pictures, stories and real live frogs. At the end of the day, the children made frog masks and practiced the frog sounds that Szabo demonstrated in his presentation.
