2 Killed, Child Injured In Head-On Crash In St. Clair County: MSP
Police determined a man entered eastbound I-94 the wrong way and collided head-on with another driver.
CASCO TOWNSHIP, MI — Two people were killed and a child was injured after a wrong way driver caused a head-on collision Monday afternoon on Interstate 94 near Meldrum Road in Casco, near Port Huron, Michigan State Police said.
Both drivers, a 25-year-old man from St. Clair County and a 33-year-old woman from Casco Township were killed in the crash, officials said. The child was listed critical condition Monday night after being transported to a local hospital and then a children's hospital.
Police determined the man driving a silver 2014 Chevrolet Cruze entered the eastbound lanes of Interstate 94 near Meldrum Road the wrong way when he collided with a 2003 GMC Yukon, officials said.
