2 Killed In Macomb County Rollover Crash: Police

Police said the driver had some sort of medical emergency before losing control of the SUV and rolling over multiple times.

WARREN, MI — Two people were killed Monday afternoon in a rollover crash on the campus of Macomb Community College in Warren, police said.

A 46-year-old Warren resident was driving an SUV in the area of 12 Mile and Hayes roads around 1:20 p.m. when the driver had some sort of medical emergency and lost control of the SUV, striking numerous cars and objects before rolling over multiple times, police said.

The driver and an 18-year-old passenger, a recent graduate of Warren Cousino High School, were found dead inside the SUV, police said. Officials did not release their names.

Police did not report any other injuries in the crash.

Police said an autopsy was being done to determine the cause of the crash, as police continue investigating the incident.
