2 Men Steal Several Boxes Of Frozen Fish From Macomb Co. Store: Police
Two men are facing charges after police said they stole roughly 25 boxes of frozen fish from a food warehouse in Macomb County.
WARREN, MI — Two men are facing charges after they stole roughly 25 boxes of frozen fish from a food warehouse in Macomb County, the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office said.
Erwin Wilson, 30, was charged with Embezzlement less than $100,000 (15 Year Felony). A judge set Wilson's bond at $20,000 and scheduled his next court date for May 25.
Michael Mitchell, 50, charged with Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property more than $1,000, less than $20,000 (Five Year Felony). A judge set Mitchell's bond at $25,000 and scheduled his next court date for May 25.

Prosecutors said Wilson loaded dozens of stolen boxes of frozen catfish from a Lipari Foods warehouse in Warren into a Cadillac Escalade on May 11.
Warren Police Officers stopped the Escalade owned and driven by Michael Mitchell and found the stolen frozen fish, officials said.

"The defendants stand accused of stealing frozen fish, an act that not only violates the law but also affects the livelihoods of business owners and their employees," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido. "Thank you to the Warren Police Department for their quick response in this case."
