2 Small Dogs Die in St. Clair Shores House Fire
The cause of the fire, which started in the rear of the home, remains under investigation.

St. Clair Shores, MI — Two small dogs died in a house fire in St. Clair Shores Saturday, according to fire officials.
No one was home at the time of the fire at a home on the 22000 block of 12 Mile Road, which was reported by a neighbor who saw flames.

“There was a lot of fire and smoke damage,”Fire Marshal Frank M. Bodnar said. “It was pretty bad.”
