3 Rescued From Lake St. Clair In Macomb County After Boat Capsizes: Sheriff

Rescue crews found the three people in the water clinging to a passing boater's vessel, officials said.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — Three people were rescued from Lake St. Clair in Macomb County after their boat capsized Monday, according to officials.

The incident happened at 12:37 p.m. Monday roughly a quarter mile offshore from the 9 Mile Road tower in St. Clair Shores, officials said.

Rescue crews found the three people in the water clinging to a passing boater’s vessel, officials said.

All three were pulled from the water and taken to the 9 Mile Road boat launch, where they were treated by the St. Clair Shores Fire Department.

Officials did not release any other details.
