"This season of ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ is all about small town, big mess," Ramsay said in a video preview of this season. "I am trying to help those restaurants get back on the map. Every season I am shocked and surprised to what I find."

The new season will feature two Detroit-area restaurants, Warren's Firenze Restaurant and Madison Height's Boodles, according to TV Insider.

Boodles, located at the 11 Mile and the Interstate 75 service drive, is best known for its steak dinners and tableside dishes, including the classic Caesar salad.

Firenze, on the other hand, has since closed after filming. The longtime Italian and pizza restaurant, located along 10 Mile Road, closed last summer. It was unclear why the restaurant abruptly closed.

The show returns to FOX on Tuesday, July 21.
