MACOMB COUNTY, MI — Officials pulled the body of a man who went missing while swimming in Lake St. Clair last weekend, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.
James "Jak" Kramer, 23, of Northville, was swimming a few miles away from the mouth of the South Channel when he went underwater and didn't resurface Saturday, officials said.
Crews searched for Kramer over the weekend and eventually found his body around 11 a.m. on Monday, officials said.
Investigators do not suspect foul play.
No other details were released.
"The Macomb County Sheriff's Office extends its deepest condolences to Kramer's family and friends during this difficult time," officials said.
