Arrest Made In Roseville Bank Robbery, Police Chase: Officials

Police said the bank robber jumped into a white van that fled officers after demanding cash from a Roseville bank teller.

ROSEVILLE, MI — Two men were arrested Thursday morning in connection to a Roseville bank robbery and fleeing officers, Roseville police said.

Officials said an unarmed 53-year-old St. Clair Shores man entered the Christian Financial Credit Union on Utica Road in Roseville Thursday morning and demanded cash from the teller.

Once the robber got the money, he ran out of the bank and jumped into a white van that was being driven by a 52-year-old Detroit man, police said.

St. Clair Shores Police then found the white van driving westbound on Interstate 94, where the van crashed while trying to exit the freeway at Cadieux Avenue in Detroit, police said.

The two men then ran away from the accident, but officers later captured the two men on nearby streets, police said.

Police said they found the stolen money, as the investigation continues.
