The Family Center of Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods hosts author Sam Quinones for a free talk and book signing on March 15

The Family Center of Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods, the community’s compass for family-related resources, will host veteran journalist and award-winning American author Sam Quinones for a free discussion, question and answer session, and book signing on Tuesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. at Grosse Pointe War Memorial, 32 Lake Shore Road in Grosse Pointe Farms. Moderated by WDIV-TV Anchor Devin Scillian, Quinones will discuss his latest book, Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic, which reflects on the pain medication and black tar heroin addictions that are currently threatening American communities.
