There is nothing better than walking around one of the marinas on the Nautical Mile marina in the spring as you and many other boaters prepare to splash your boat for yet another season of adventure. You see people you have not seen in several months. You meet new people who are new to your boating community. You will finally be able get outdoors from the long winter and enjoy the lake that is a secret to many. 

St. Clair Shores, the Nautical Mile and Lake St. Clair exemplify this lifestyle and the love of the water. This is why so many people call one of the marinas on the mile their second home or their summer city. 

There is so much to do, places to go and people to see, and it all starts with peaceful tranquility in the mornings as the sun rises over the lake. Do I have breakfast on the boat or visit one of the local eateries on Jefferson? What fireworks displays am I going to go see this year?
