Police Find Gun At Chippewa Valley HS, Arrest Student: Officials
Clinton Township Police said there were no injuries and placed a student in police custody.
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A Chippewa Valley High School student was arrested Friday morning after police found a gun at the school, officials said.
School officials said they alerted Clinton Township Police after a parent and student told school officials that another student had the gun in the school, WDIV reported.
The high school was then placed under lockdown while police investigated the incident, officials said.

Police found the gun during a preliminary investigation and said there were no injuries during the lockdown. The student was placed into police custody without incident, officials said.
