2012: A Time for Change

2012
What Is The Mayan Prophecy?

Contrary to popular belief (we can blame the eager media and doomsday hopefuls for that), the Mayan Prophecy does not predict the end of the world on December 21, 2012. Instead it highlights the end of an era as our modern civilization enters a new kind of spiritual and collective conscious. There won't be any sudden moment of destruction - least of all at 11:11 GMT as some suggest. The Mayans believed that starting from the year 1999, mankind would have 13 years to recognize our own patterns of self destruction. It's now our responsibility to get our act together and understand the importance of following a more spiritual existence in tune with the living, breathing universe.

Transition Saint Clair Shores is hosting a community event about 2012 and what it means for human civilization.
The year 2012 is not the end, it is the beginning of a new age.

This year can be a powerful time for positive change in the hearts and minds of the people of the world. At this critical point in time, we can choose to vision and manifest a new world into being. The stories that we tell ourselves about who we are, why we are here and how we connect with the natural world have a profound effect upon the life that will manifest. Please join Transition Saint Clair Shores in taking a look at how this year can be a turning point in human history in which we choose cooperation over competition, love over mistrust, and compassion over exploitation. We can choose to come to terms with the knowledge that we are all connected and start living honest lives of integrity.

We will be meeting in the basement of the childcare center in the Lake shore YMCA complex. Call Stephen Kiluk of Transition Saint Clair Shores @ 586-871-2587 for further details.

***SNACKS AND BEVERAGES WILL BE PROVIDED***
