The Michigan Boating Industries Association's Boating & Outdoor Festival returns to Metro Beach Metropark for four fun-filled days, Sept. 22-25.
Whether you're looking to buy or simply looking, this show is a great place to start. All kinds of boats, ATVs, kayaks, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, motorcycles, kite boards, paddle boards, sunrooms, hot tubs and more will be on display and for sale. Some buyers are likely to find some great end-of-season deals as well.
But it's more than boats and browsing, as there's fun for the whole family. Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer will make several appearances, and children will enjoy the Kids Zone, full of bounce houses, face-painting, fishing games and more. Also, Duma the waterskiing dog will wow the crowds. There will be live music and merriment at the Tiki Bar. Plus there are plenty of contests and promotions going on throughout the festival.
