Brownie's on the Lake is holding a fundraiser, Help Heal a Broken Heart, on Feb. 22 for Allan Scott Smith, who has served as the main security guy at Brownie's
The 43-year-old father of four is experiencing serious heart issues. Surgery may be enough to fix the problem, but right now he can't work while he's trying to recover and is facing expensive medical bills (including having to shell out for a dozen prescriptions). If surgery doesn't help, Smith may need a heart transplant.
As a result the folks at Brownie's and Commodore members are teaming up to hold a benefit for Smith.

Drop in from 7-10 p.m. for a mostaccioli dinner. Price is $10 and all proceeds go to Smith. Live entertainment and drink specials are planned. Donations will be accepted as well.
