Besides featuring more than 30 quilts by 22 contemporary quilt artists from nine countries. Ford House has several talks, workshops and receptions planned that feature local quilt artists and collectors.
Today, kids will get hands-on experience with sewing and leave with a finished product to take home in a quilting workshop led by Laura Rodin. It's perfect for scout groups seeking merit badges, and recommended for children 8-12. Cost is $10.
