Macomb County Community Mental Health Services Hosts Misunderstood No More

The Andrew Kukes Foundation for Social Anxiety will be hosting an educational presentation "Misunderstood No More -- Examining Social Anxiety."

The presentation will discuss one of the most prevalent and misunderstood mental health disorders — social anxiety. The educational event for professionals, individuals who experience social anxiety, family members and friends will help those who attend gain a better understanding of social anxiety and the importance of proper diagnosis, treatment and support.

Social anxiety expert and author, Jonathan Berent, L.C.S.W., A.C.S.W., who will discuss the effects of social anxiety on children, adolescents and adults.

There is no charge to attend the event at the Sterling Inn and Banquet Center.
