From the City of St. Clair Shores:
"Organizers of the 2012 Nautical Mile Pond Hockey Tournament announced that the tournament will be cancelled. This event was rescheduled to occur February 10 – 12, with hopes that we would have cold weather and approximately 6 inches of ice on the canals to accommodate this tournament. The weather forecast predicts unseasonably warm weather therefore the tournament will not be rescheduled again in late February or early March. Entrance fees will be returned to all teams that have registered. Organizers will begin efforts on planning for the 2013 Nautical Mile Pond Hockey Tournament. Brownies on the Lake will continue to host a hockey related celebration at their restaurant on Saturday, February 11 for registered teams, event sponsors, volunteer organizers, etc. "
