Family Pleads For Dog 'Thor's' Safe Return
A Macomb County family's pit bull puppy "Thor" was stolen from near their home on Tuesday.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — A Macomb County family is asking for help in finding their 10-week-old puppy. Amanda and Bradley Karalis of Roseville think “Thor” was stolen from their yard on Park Street Tuesday night. The couple have taken to social media in an all-out effort reunite Thor with his best friend — four-year-old Tegan.
Video captured from a nearby senior living facility seems to show two white men, thought to be in their 20’s, taking the dog and driving away in a dark-colored Dodge Charger. The Karalis’ live near 12 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue.
“These people still have a chance to step up and do what’s right,” said Amanda Karalis in a Facebook Live video on Wednesday. “They snatched Thor up.”

Roseville Police are investigating the alleged theft. Several metro Detroit television media outlets have reported on the case and the Karalis' have enlisted help on Facebook via #BringThorHome hashtag. They've received a strong response from the public.

“Thank you… so many Big Hearts out there helping,” Amada Karalis wrote Thursday on Facebook. “No limits.”
Thor is a “blue nose” pit bull, Karalis said. “My son is heartbroken,” Amanda wrote on Facebook on Aug. 23.
Patch spoke with Amanda Karalis via Facebook Friday afternoon. She indicated that there are no new leads as to Thor’s whereabouts.
